Monster Hunter Stories 2 Oroshi Kirin

The Oroshi Kirin is a Subspecies of Kirin introduced in Monster Hunter 4.

Physiology

Unlike the ordinary Kirin, this subspecies' trunk is mainly a dark navy blue, with violet stripes throughout. Its mane is black with lite purple tips and its optics are a luminous red. In improver, its horn is larger, has pink-ish color and features a spiraling ridge from base to tip.

Beliefs and Abilities

Oroshi Kirin is fifty-fifty more than aggressive than its standard cousin. It is able to summon water ice shards to defend itself rather than the lighting strikes employed past its standard cousin.

Habitat

Oroshi Kirin tin only be fought in the Everwood or Tower Summit.

Touching its water ice block will crusade minor damage and Iceblight condition to the hunter.
Its design appears to be partially based upon the Kirin X armor ready from Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, which featured a very similar purple and blue coloration.
